Like so many of you…
I'm trying to carve out a life for my family in south-central Indiana. My wife Adriane and I are both working to support our blended family as they navigate public school and college.
I’ve been a church pastor here in Southern Indiana for nearly 8 years. I’m also a chaplain in the Indiana Army National Guard, where I’ve been serving for nearly 10 years, including one overseas deployment and more than a year on full-time orders serving right here in Indiana during our COVID response mission.
Thomas Horrocks is a member of the Indiana Army National Guard. Use of his military rank, job titles, and photographs in uniform does not imply endorsement by the Indiana National Guard or the Department of Defense.
I went into ministry because I wanted to play a part in helping people live meaningful, fulfilling lives. I wanted to see people have every opportunity to thrive as individuals, and in their relationships, and families. That’s the same reason I’m now running to represent you in the Statehouse.
I'm running because I got tired of sitting on the sidelines. I think our state government should focus more on actually helping Hoosiers and I’m running to help make that happen. At the end of the day, I think there’s more that unites us than divides us, and I think it's time to get to work making life better for all of us. I hope you’ll join me.
